lyrics

I take you down
Spin you round on the floor
Now we gather dust
How we barely touch
Hush beautiful boy
There’ll be nothing left once we destroy
So we hold our breath until the morning

We turn the page
Fingers tracing the lines
I am weightless
Listening for the faintest beat
So sweetly in time
With every breeze I’m melting ice
In the rainy streets I reflect the light

I am white water rapids as I crash, carving canyons
Until every last grain of sand is a luminous little lantern
I'm the wind
Rattle your window pane
Blow in and wake you from your dream
Believe what you can’t see
Every time you breath
It’s me

I take you down
Spin you round on the floor
Now we gather dust
How we barely touch
Hush beautiful boy
There’ll be nothing left once we destroy
So we hold our breath until the morning

The Haves Have It Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Haves Have It were a local Minneapolis punk band in the mid 2000's. Portia and Jenn met in 2003 doing activist work and quickly became friends. They got rad on the local level between 2004-2008. ... more
